About Us

Howdy and hello.  Thank you for taking the time to visit our little internet home.  We're the Carty family and the guardians of Texas Heathens.  It is our hope to create a livestock show team for all students from a multitude of backgrounds.  We started our FFA journey four years ago when our middle daughter got to high school.  She's a senior now and our chapter is coming to an end.  We're not ready to say goodbye to the hobby we've grown to love and enjoy.  It's our dream to help support our community youth by investing in individuals within the agricultural showing circuit who show leadership skills, a positive mindset, a willingness to learn, and serve others.
